Data recovery request Envescent performs diagnostics on each source storage device to calculate an estimate for data recovery. Diagnostics are $150.00 per source storage device and take 4-7 business days. Diagnostics and data recovery services are only available for companies, government agencies and non-profit organizations.
Equipment Please tell us only about the source storage device(s) being checked in for data recovery services in as much detail as possible. For separate source storage devices please open one additional ticket per device. We do not recover data from mobile phones or tablets.
Media type * This pertains to the equipment being checked in for data recovery. If you cannot find it choose other. Most modern hard drives and solid state drives found in computers are SATA.
Manufacturer * Please let us know what brand of storage device you have. If it isn't listed please choose other.
Model number * Your model number helps us to identify your storage device and what recovery options may exist for it. It is very important. If you don't know then write "not sure" and we can help you identify it.
Serial number * Please let us know your serial number. Hard drives and computers have this information and it can help our research and inventory tracking of your items. If you cannot find it or don't know please write N/A.
Operating system * It is important for us to know which operating system was being used to better identify your data. If you use a camera (such as with an SD card) or don't know select Other.

List of data to recover * The more detail we can receive about the types of data to recover and where it is located the better we may be able to assist you. Please let us know about file types (like documents, pictures, movies, music) and where they may be (i.e. C:\users\bob\documents) and we will be able to better assist you (answer in the box below).
Prior recovery attempts Please tell us whether you or any other parties have attempted to recover data from the source storage device(s) and if attempts were made what steps were taken in as much detail as possible. If no attempts have occurred you may leave this field blank.
